Join An Online Music Contest Or Music Competition!

If you decide to create a HISS account you will get free credits when you sign up. Most contests cost you credits. If you run out of free credits, you will need to buy or win more to enter contests.

Most contest entries are restricted to sixty seconds and four thousand KB. Other restrictions will be posted in the contest information if they vary. Your credits may be returned depending on the reasons for disqualification. The HISS admin will decide this as well. You can find out and discuss more information related to the web site and the whole HISS system in the forum.

Once a contest is open for voting, the members can listen to the entries and vote from one to ten, ten being best. You must listen to at least part of an entry before you can post a vote. The winners are then selected considering the highest average score using the Fair Play Voting System.

In addition, the international music competition system has some important rules. For instance, you need to upload Mp3 files only. Quality is imperative; do not forget the file size. You can vote in a contest you have entered, but you are not able to vote on your own entry. Also, you are allowed to create a maximum of four accounts using the same IP address. You cannot enter the same composition in more than one contest. Those are some vital rules in case you want to give it a try. By the way, the compositions are anonymous until all voting is done.

If you would like more information, you can contact the staff using the Contact section on the web site. If you are talented, you should give it a try.
