Twilight Fans Take It To The Next Level By Wearing Replica Twilight Jewelry

The Twilight Saga is a vampire romance novel aimed at young adults, mainly girls. Surprisingly Twilight was actually rejected by 14 agents, who i'm sure are now all kicking themselves but it finally got published in 2005, debuting at #5 on the New York Times Best Seller list within a month of its release and since then it has peaked at #1. So far the book has sold 17 million copies worldwide, spent over 91 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list and been translated into 37 different languages.

It is in the first book that we are introduced to seventeen-year-old Isabella 'Bella' Swan, who moves house, moving from from Phoenix to a small town called Forks where it rains all the time. It is here that she finds her life in danger as falls for Edward Cullen, a vampire. The novel is followed by New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. A film adaptation of Twilight was released in 2008 which has been a massive success. The films have done so well in fact that the studio aren't just releasing each book as a movie, they are splitting the final book into two movies to make sure they get the most of out the franchise and they've now taken the next step and released replica props from the movie. If you or anyone you know wanted to dress like a Cullen or a Quillette then now thanks to mass marketing - you can. Items range from engagement rings to chokers and cuffs, but it is all based on real props from the movies.

The author of The Twilight series categorized her first book, Twilight, as 'suspense romance horror comedy' depsite it being placed under young fiction. However, she now states that she considers her books as 'romance more than anything else'. The series explores the unorthodox romance between human Bella and vampire Edward, as well as the love triangle between Bella, Edward, and Jacob, a werewolf. The books avoid delving into provocative sex, drugs, and harsh swearing because, according to Meyer, 'I don't think teens need to read about gratuitous sex.'

Although the books are based on the popular vampire myth, Twilight vampires seem to differ in quite a number of particular ways compared to the general vampire lore that everyone seems to know. For example, the Twilight vampires don't have fangs they have strong piercing teeth and rather than burn up in the sun as we see on so many vampire shows and movies they glitter in sunlight. They are also not limited to human blood and can drink both animal blood as well as human blood. Meyer explains that her vampire mythology differs from other authors because she wasn't informed about the canon vampires, saying.
'It wasn't until I knew that Twilight would be published that I began to think about whether my vampires were too much the same or too much different from the others. Of course, I was far too invested in my characters at that point to be making changes... so I didn't cut out fangs and coffins and so forth as a way to distinguish my vampires; that's just how they came to me.'
