Movie Review - Robin Hood (2010)
Recently, as I am positively you all know, Sir Ridley Scott sure to take any more epic story and fail it to us in the summer show season. For this film, he chose his favorite heroic actor, no one other than Russell Crowe to sport Robin Hood.
This story is somewhat of a prequel to could you repeat that? We already know approximately Robin Hood. We take up the story with Robin Hood fighting in the crusades. Upon Richard the Lionheart's death in battle, Robin and three of his flanking companions decide to leave the army and pressurize somebody into their way homewards. Seeing that the story progresses, Robin Longstride takes on the identity of Robin of Loxely and tries to unify the Northern Barons of England. This is in the beginning motivated by the civil nervousness caused by sovereign John's unfair taxes on the for all folk of the kingdom. The show climaxes with an invasion of England's south coast by the French. Robin leads them to victory but is so therefore proclaimed an veto by a jealous sovereign John.
I was really surprised by how much I liked this film. I knew so as to I would have the benefit of it. Russell Crowe homicide fill with a bow and arrow and bringing justice to the weak (like he did in The Gladiator), could you repeat that? Possibly will expire sinful. But, I concept the story was very inspiring and the combat was incredible. For the almost 2 and a partially hours I felt as if I was in 12th century England.
I plus really have the benefit of the at the bottom of cast. Cate Blanchett was amazing as Lady Marion. Initially, I really did not purchase so as to casting. But, she played the strong-willed, sharp character to a tee. I plus really enjoyed the wit so as to commemorate Addy and Kevin Durand brought to the film as Friar Tuck and not very John correspondingly.
So far the summer show season is still treating us very well. I enjoyed Robin Hood on many distinct levels. The battle sequences were not powerfully to be a fan of, I hate so as to unsteady cam affair so as to they achieve. The show was funny and the plot was attractive. For so as to, I would like to fail Robin Hood a 10 on the It's Geektime d10 of outlaws.
